It would seem I managed to catch the last of the summer sun earlier on this week with this short sleeved shirt, and cropped trouser combo. Now that we're heading into September and soon the Autumn will be upon us, I wanted to get some wear out of these pieces before it was too late. The majority of this outfit is from ASOS with the shoes selling over on Mr Porter by Converse.
I'm a fan of their cropped trouser, and have a few other pairs as an alternative to jeans or a chino in the summer months. They add an element of smartness to an outfit, yet give a modern twist with the cropped length. They also parter up with white sneakers or loafers really well. Although it isn't something I'd usually go for - I love the print on this shirt. The dotted diamond pattern adds a point of interest and breaks away from my usual striped obsession.
