WHAT I WORE: VARSITY BOMBER AND CROPPED TROUSER

A huge trend this season is silk bomber, and souvenir jackets. They're not only stylish but extremely versatile for this time of year, when we aren't sure if we're going to get a summer or not. I thought it was about time that I got my hands on one, and the ASOS summer sale didn't disappoint. I ended up buying three. I also came across these skinny fit, black cropped trousers that I have become a huge fan of and know I'll end up wearing all summer.

I always end up cuffing my jeans so the cropped length saves me the trouble, and gives a casual element to the otherwise smart trouser. The fit is also brilliant as they taper towards the ankle and aren't too skinny around the waist. Like the jacket, they were also from ASOS and are available in a number of other colours (that I'm sure I'll be purchasing).

The jacket was a steal at under £30 and feels great on. I was worried it would be a little flimsy, but it has a good weight to the fabric and isn't too hot to wear. I wanted it to be the stand out piece, so partnered the look with simple black and white tones to make the jacket pop more. I like the simple white tee underneath, and am becoming increasingly a fan of the monochrome look.

The other stand out piece of the outfit is this watch from The Myles Collection. They're a relatively new brand, that gifted me this brilliant watch a few weeks back and I love it. They offer timeless and stylish pieces for an affordable price tag. The quality is great and there's a number of different finishes to choose from. I can see these suiting a range of different tastes and I highly recommend you check them out! They've also given you guys an extra 10% off with the code 'SAMGRAY'!
