TOP PICKS: SKIN CARE AND MALE GROOMING

Over the past month, I've been adding new products to my grooming and skincare collection. I tend to grab the same things each time I refill my bathroom shelf, but this time I wanted to see what else was available and to try to find a couple new things that would work for me. Of course, I'm always going to have my firm favorites - but I'm always open to seeing what else is out there.

Interest in male grooming has never been so popular and this means an ever growing variety of products are out there for us guys to get our hands on. I find that even the finest of exfoliants and facewashes can irritate my skin, so I always appreciate a product that gives me the result I'm after and leaves my skin looking and feeling great. I wanted to pop a short list together, of the things that I've been using this month.

I find it really hard to find a face wash that works for me, but this did the trick. I have a mix of both dry and oily skin, so it's hard to find one that's suitable for both skin types, but this facewash by Bayolea leaves my skin feeling great. It has a nice aroma and lathers up easily, removing any dirt or execss oil from my face.  I recommend using between a five and ten pence piece sized amount, and using a circular motion to rub it into your face, finally rinsing with warm water. It leaves my skin feeling really smooth and gives me a really even complexion with lasting results. - MR. PORTER | £25 | Available Here |

This has been my go to fragrance for a while now. I think it's extremely easy to wear, has a long lasting scent without being too overpowering. I feel it maintains a fresh aroma, with notes of bergamot, lavender and sandalwood and can be worn throughout the year on most guys. I'm extremely picky when it comes to fragrances, but this one hits the spot and people often pick up on it when I'm out and about. - JOHN LEWIS | from £31 | Available Here |

This was given to me at an event last month and I'm so glad it was introduced to me. I find that the water where I live, really dries out my skin, but this exfoliating body bar leaves it feeling smooth, clean and extremely fresh. The actual exfoliating particles are made from crushed olive seeds and are brilliant at removing any dirt or dead skin cells. It has a great scent to and is extremely long lasting. I've used it every other day since getting it, and the ware is hardly noticeable. Out of everything in this post, this would be my number one pick for you guys to try. - MR. I've featured this on my blog before, but it's still something that I feel I can't go without. The fragrance free, gel formula is great at reducing any shine created by excess oil buildup and leaves the skin feeling smooth. It soaks into the skin relatively fast, so you're not left with any residue on the surface - which makes it ideal to use just before you head out the door. A good moisturizer is something that a guy should never take for granted. Look after your skin now, and you'll thank me for it later! - HOUSE OF FRASER | £25 | Available Here |

Of course, every guy has different needs, and whether you have a complete grooming routine that you've perfected, or if you're a novice - I highly recommend you get your hands on these. They aren't too costly and seem to be lasting the test of time. Let me know your thoughts if you decide to try them out!
