With what started as a rainy day, ended up being a great evening. I'd been looking forward to the event since I received the invitation and it didn't disappoint. It was a great way to end LCM and the rooftop setting provided the perfect place to discuss our favorite pieces from the week and to chat about the world of male style blogging.
When we arrived we were shown to the roof and served some amazing Sipsmith Gin cocktails. There's a number of summer time drinks that come to mind and their Gin based cocktails were brilliant. No summer event would be complete with a lawn game or two, and the guy splaying Frescobol set the mood. The classic summer game was great fun to watch and it was interesting to see the different guests taking their turn.
They also had the Mr Porter Gelato, serving some delicious scoops of the summer time treat along side Impossible Project taking polaroids of the guests as they mingled and caught up with each other. It was great to see faces such as Spencer Matthews, Craig McGinlay and Alfie Baker amongst the attendees.
Of course no style event would be complete without a showcase of the latest collection, and we were each treated to a pair of swim shorts from the Frescobol range. Mr Porter is one of the most popular and sophisticated online shopping spots for Men today, so I thought it would be great to show my run down of my top summer picks from their site. Overall, it was a great evening and I hope it will be the first of many.
