Opening LCM this season was the Topman Design SS17 show. The collection was overseen by the brand's Creative Director, Gordan Richardson, and in my opinion, was one of the weekend's strongest showcases. Inspired by the British Beach Resort's and Mod Culture, the collection really celebrates British Summer and sports candy colors with the traditional red, white and blue thrown in as a nod to the flag. They've really captured the essence of British summertime and even the models came out with wet hair, as if straight from the sea, and sun burnt cheeks.

There's a focus on branded sweatshirts with seaside towns being embroidered across the chest and lapeled tailoring taking a strong feature. A staple for Topman, high cut shorts with a slimmer silhouettes are seen across the collection with two piece pairings on offer. Its a shame we have to wait until we can shop the collection, as there are a number of brilliant pieces that I'd love to get my hands on. If you missed out on the show, then you can catch up online - it's worth a watch. I've popped a few of my favorite looks below from the event.
