WHAT I WORE: BLUE DENIM AND SUEDE

With the warmer weather starting to make an appearance, so is my blue denim. I always feel that this shade only looks right during the summer, but I could be wrong.  There's something about blue that immediately makes me think of holidays or going to the beach.

For this look I thought I'd keep it simple with a plain white tee, plaid shirt and my favourite jacket. The shirt is another bargain from Primark. People write off Primark, but they do the occasional great piece of menswear if your'e willing to have a rummage. If you're going to wear a white tee, make sure it is white and not discoloured. You can pick them up really cheaply so there's no excuse for stains or greyness! It'll prevent you from looking sloppy and add that sharp edge to your outfit. I also dug out a pair of boots that have been in hiding for quite a while as I thought it was about time they saw the day of light again.
I like how simple and clean this outfit looks. It's works with or without the jacket if this isn't something you own, but I think the mix of the colours adds something great. These four shades are what I've based my wardrobe around recently and I think they'll see me right through the season. It's been a lot easier to mix and match outfits since I've been more conscious of what colours and items I'm buying.
