New York City is my favourite place in the world, so whenever I get the chance to head back I do. I don't know what it is about New York that I love so much, but I never get tired of exploring the streets and taking in the vibrance of the place. Some people say that London has the same amount to offer, but I've never felt more at home in a place than in the big apple. I've also stayed in my fair share of hotels there, some better than others. Being a blogger, I'm always after new and exciting places to hang out so welcomed a stay at Moxy Times Square with open arms.

With an extremely central location, modern interiors and amazing rooftop bar, the brand new hotel by Marriott offers an exciting stay for anyone after both somewhere to relax and party whilst staying in Manhattan. There's a total of 612 rooms that vary in style and price point based on what you're looking for. From regular doubles, to bunks for 4 and king-suites - there's something for most types of people whether its a solo trip for work or a group of friends after a weekend in the city.

I've always been a fan of interiors that mix both industrial touches with clean, modern luxury and this is something I feel they've done really well. They've taken all the traditional features of a hotel, including the check in, and turned it on it's head to bring hotel stays up to date and without any fuss. Moxy offers a central hub in the city and somewhere to recharge with a needed rest. They room has everything you'd need including a clothes steamer (something us bloggers appreciate when unpacking for an OOTD shoot). The huge TV has links to Youtube, Netflix and Hulu - so if you don't feel like leaving the room, you can stay and binge watch TV series whilst taking in amazing views of the Empire State Building from your room.

Let's talk about 'Magic Hour' - the hotel's rooftop bar. There's something great about sipping your favourite cocktails on the 18th floor of a midtown building whilst taking in amazing views of the city. Split into two halves of the roof, they offer both open air and covered seating for an evening drink before the real party starts. it's open until 4am and has already established itself as a great spot to party, with a large range of Celebs and VIPs already choosing it as their newest hangout. The bar also has fun features like mini-golf and a built in Twister mat if you feel like taking things up a notch or two after a few Espresso Martinis.

If you're after something a little more relaxed or laid back, Bar Moxy based on the second floor of the hotel offers just this. With comfortable seating and private meeting rooms, the internal meeting point is a great space for casual get-togethers or before dinner drinks. They also have their own restaurant 'Legasea' - an amazing Seafood Brasserie, if you want to to grab a bit to eat before heading just around the corner for your favourite Broadway shows. It's based just of Times square and is only two blocks from Macy's, so whether you're a NYC newbie or a local that wants a night away from home, check out Moxy for the perfect New York hub. I'll definitely be returning again soon!!
