One of my favourite pieces that came into play last summer was the souvenir jacket. Certain high street brands and designer labels have kept this going into SS17 with a fresh take on the vintage inspired outerwear. Whether it's beading and patchwork, or new slogans and an updated colour palettes, this seasons offerings are stronger than the last. As usual, I wanted to stick to a clean, simple colour combo and chose this black and champagne reversible number from Topman.

The black satin has a great shine to it and the matte stitching really stands out without being too obvious. I've never been one for graphic prints or pictures on clothing, so the black on black meets a happy medium to suit my taste. I love the champagne coloured piping on the shoulders and sleeves when turned the other way round. The addition of the orange also makes a great choice for the summer, brightening the whole look.

As usual, I went for my staple pair of black skinny jeans paired with a denim button down. Surprisingly this wasn't too hot and actually worked pretty well both with and without the jacket. I feel you can never go wrong with a denim shirt and whether it's fitted or oversized, the relaxed style seems to work for most guys. This look is great for an evening in the city, enjoying those last minute rays, whilst bringing that varsity inspired LA vibes to the UK.
