WHAT I WORE: SUITING SEPERATES

As the summer season draws to an end, and the colder weather draws in, it's finally time to start reaching for those autumnal tweeds and thicker outwear wear pieces. That doesn't mean you have to keep it casual and just go for your favourite bomber jacket. Blazers are a great year-round alternative to your more casual pieces and keep you looking suitably smart - pardon the pun.

I have a few in my wardrobe and like to play around with how I wear them. They're a great versatile piece and can be dressed up or down depending on the desired look. I find that the more pricey options tend to hold out better and you can always tell the difference to cheap tailoring. Partner them up with a simple tee and skinny jean for a sleeker look, or throw on a slouchy hoodie for that preppy alternative. I love this navy, unstructured option from Jack Wills for both the shape and quality. It's a great option for this time of year and is a perfect way to keep a smart appearance without having to wear a full suit. - Scroll down to shop the look!
