WHAT I WORE: KNITTED NAVY

Every now and again you find that one item that you know you'll be holding onto for a long time. This jumper was my latest purchase from Jigsaw, and I immediately knew what I wanted to team it with. I don't know where the inspiration from this outfit came, but I'm so glad with how it looks and how these pictures turned out.

This Spring/Summer look is one that can be adapted to suit your own personal style. I'm a big fan of navy and already had this mac hanging around in my wardrobe from last Autumn. Now that the weather has warmed up, and we've had a glimpse of sun for the first time in ages, the light weight fabric is perfect for heading out in. It's easy to throw on over a jumper or tee and teams up well with most styles. Most brands currently have a wide range of colours on offer, so it's worth finding the one that suits you best (shop these items at the bottom of the page).

Now for my favourite piece. When I saw this jumper in store I knew I had to have it. I love textured knits, and this heavy weight cotton number was right up my street. It has a slight nautical hint in the weave which is why I think it looks great with the white jeans. I never thought I'd be a fan of white denim on me, but I think I've been converted. It may be a little too early on in the year for white denim, but I think I struck a healthy balance with the other items. The loafers are a must for any 'man about town' and I picked these up recently in the River Island sale. I think the black really sets off the white and navy, and smartens the whole look up. The sunglasses were an absolute steal from Primark - at only £2! They seem really sturdy and I think I'll be reaching for these all summer long.
